The SunGuard SG-4 charge controller uses the same charging circuit as the SunSaver and works well as a 12 VDC, low-power controller for up to 75W of PV module(s). Since it is epoxy encapsulated, it can be used outdoors in harsh environments.
The SunGuard’s dimensions are 2.5″H x 2″W x 1.6″D with wire leads for connecting module and battery, and it is covered by a 5-year warranty.
